Additional Requirements

  • Age should be between 40 to 50 years.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and certification frameworks, including GOTS, OCS (Organic Content Standard), COTTON USA, OEKO-TEX, BCI, CMIA, and GRS for recycled yarn.
  • Candidates with Internal Audit Training or relevant certification will receive preference.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 and Labour Rules 2015/2018, along with practical implementation experience.
  • Proven track record in managing buyer audits, compliance inspections, and regulatory assessments.
  • Strong coordination and liaison skills with industry associations and regulatory bodies, including BGMEA, BTMA, BKMEA, BERC, environmental authorities, compliance auditors, fire safety departments, labour offices, labour courts, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Sound knowledge of workplace health, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Extensive experience in core HR and administrative functions, including:
    • Recruitment and employee screening
    • Compensation, benefits, and payroll-related policies
    • Performance management and employee evaluation
    • Employee relations, grievance handling, and workplace engagement
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop, review, and implement HR and Administrative policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compensation, leave management, grievance handling, and workplace-related concerns.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate HR, Administration, and Compliance teams across both corporate and factory operations.
  • Manage departmental budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, workplace safety standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee employee performance management processes, including performance evaluations and timely KPI assessments.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and senior management to align HR strategies and workforce planning with overall business objectives.
