  • Experience to I.E, SCM, TQM, etc., will be an added advantage
  • Should have good knowledge of Compliance, Labor Law and Rules & Wages Gazette for RMG sector.
  • Should have knowledge in Social, Compliance & Technical Audit.
  • Should be well-behaved, honest and able to work timely.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure the efficiency, productivity, and quality of all processes from cutting to packing on the production floor.
  • Monitor and control all Industrial Engineering (IE) activities in a 100% export-oriented knit garment operation.
  • Drive production progress across downlines to meet daily and monthly targets.
  • Coordinate seamlessly across production, technical, and quality teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Follow up on production plans from cutting to shipping, optimizing machine utilization, manpower allocation, and layout design for maximum productivity.
  • Provide manufacturing expertise to the production team and implement cost-reduction strategies and efficiency improvements through process innovations.
  • Prepare timely production plans aligned with available capacity and marketing requirements.
  • Train and develop employees to build skills and foster strong, high-performing teams.
  • Analyze workers' efficiency, identifying strengths and areas for improvement to enhance their productivity.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of all departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize manpower utilization while maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Generate and present regular performance reviews and management reports to senior leadership.
  • Supervise sewing and finishing processes to achieve the best possible output and provide hands-on direction on the production floor.
  • Set up sewing lines, and oversee consumption, costing, and inventory management.
  • Provide feedback to garment buyers and buyer quality control (QC) teams for continuous improvement.
  • Strive to achieve maximum production output at the lowest possible cost while maintaining quality standards.
