Responsibilities & Context

Pioneer Group of Industries manufactures a wide range of Electrical Cables, Energy-Efficient Lighting Solutions, Electrical Components, Transformers, Ceiling Fans, Concrete & Wooden Utility Poles, and serves as a prominent importer of other electrical products. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven Marketing & Sales Manager for our sister concern, Pioneer Lights Ltd., to spearhead sales efforts through innovative presentations and maintain a robust distribution network nationwide.

  1. Sales Leadership:

    • Demonstrate exceptional leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Bring a sense of urgency and an in-depth understanding of the electrical and lighting industry.
  2. Market Representation:

    • Represent the organization confidently in the trading sector.
    • Exhibit a professional, presentable, and energetic demeanor when promoting products and services.
  3. Business Expertise:

    • Proven track record in senior management roles within the lighting and electrical accessories market, including managing distribution channels.
    • Strong ability to analyze business viability and ROI, communicate this effectively to customers, and inspire them to act.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build relationships with retailers, electricians, and other stakeholders to promote products.
    • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to strengthen the company’s market presence.
  5. Distribution Network Development:

    • Establish and manage a comprehensive distribution network across different regions.
    • Candidates with prior experience in FMCG distribution are highly encouraged to apply.
  6. Collaboration Across Departments:

    • Collaborate with divisional heads, supply chain, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of products and support sales growth.
  7. Team Management:

    • Supervise, motivate, and guide a team of sales and marketing professionals.

  8. Operational Planning:

    • Create and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company objectives.
    • Prepare and present regular sales and collection reports to senior management.

    • Plan and execute visits to distributors and potential markets to establish connections.
