Responsibilities & Context

  • Establish quality control procedures for each stage of the production process, from design to final product inspection.
  • Conduct regular audits of production processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Determine product and technical specifications, including garment construction, operation sequence, machine selection, attachments, and work methods.
  • Manage quality control teams and professionals responsible for inspecting and testing products for quality.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding product-related issues such as fit, construction, technical specifications, and raw materials.
  • Oversee the direct reporting of individual quality managers across departments and facilities, ensuring consistent quality throughout the value chain.
  • Manage customer onboarding by setting up processes aligned with customer-specific requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, customer expectations, and changes to ensure the company's quality control procedures remain effective.
  • Train new staff and assign positions accordingly.
