Responsibilities & Context

  • Monitor and oversee overall quality control processes within the washing plant.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards for both wet and dry processing sections.
  • Conduct daily morning briefings with quality staff and review reports from both day and night shifts.
  • Possess strong knowledge of housekeeping practices and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Identify root causes of quality-related issues and develop actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager/GM/Director to address and rectify identified problems.
  • Supervise and maintain proper systems across all wet and dry processes.
  • Guide the quality team to consistently deliver high-standard results.
  • Provide clear instructions for handling new styles or buyer-specific requirements.
  • Prepare and share hourly and daily quality reports with the GM/Director.
  • Develop and execute quality plans for both shifts, ensuring achievement of set targets.
  • Engage in discussions with the GM to align on quality objectives and receive strategic instructions.
  • Communicate effectively with buyers and maintain strong relationships with other factory production and quality teams.
  • Organize and lead regular training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Supervise and support QC staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Attend production meetings, gather information on upcoming orders, and set quality targets.
  • Prepare the team to meet and exceed buyer satisfaction expectations.
  • Deliver comprehensive quality control support to the washing department, covering everything from sampling to final inspection.
  • Implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) within the washing plant.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
