Responsibilities & Context

The GM-Quality will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest quality standards throughout all denim garment production processes. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive quality control systems, monitoring production metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve exceptional product quality.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of quality control and operational excellence within the factory.
  • Identify all types of faults in the garment production process, take immediate corrective actions, and establish quality norms to minimize garment rejections.
  • Develop effective quality assurance plans for garment products, ensuring that all products delivered to buyers fully meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance objectives, coordinating with production procedures in collaboration with Manufacturing Managers.
  • Analyze statistical data and product specifications to assess current standards and establish the expected quality and reliability of finished products.
  • Design and implement quality assurance procedures that minimize the use of time, manpower, and resources while ensuring optimal product quality.
  • Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to international quality standards and compliance regulations for products.
  • Lead and motivate the quality assurance team to deliver consistently high-quality products.
  • Implement effective strategies for process development and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize product quality and reduce wastage.
  • Maintain strong relationships with buyers, ensuring their requirements are consistently met.
  • Immediately inform superior authorities or management of any discrepancies for necessary action.
