Support the development and execution of ICT and general procurement strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Assist the Head of Department (HoD) in overseeing daily procurement operations and achieving departmental goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records, including contracts, purchase orders, vendor files, and supplier performance reports.
Contribute to the establishment of departmental targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for team members.
Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulatory standards.
Participate in supplier evaluation, onboarding, and development initiatives in accordance with organizational policies.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing timely documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Assist supervisors and senior officers in managing the complete ICT and general procurement cycle, from requisition through payment.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Brand & Marketing, and other relevant departments.
Analyze and interpret stakeholder requirements, technical specifications, service needs, and project priorities to support efficient procurement planning.
Support sourcing and procurement activities, including RFx (RFI/RFQ/RFP) processes, contract reviews, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier rationalization.
Guide internal stakeholders on procurement procedures, category management practices, and supplier risk assessment processes.
Identify procurement-related risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in a transparent, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
