Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Managerial Support

  • Support the development and execution of ICT and general procurement strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures.

  • Assist the Head of Department (HoD) in overseeing daily procurement operations and achieving departmental goals.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records, including contracts, purchase orders, vendor files, and supplier performance reports.

  • Contribute to the establishment of departmental targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for team members.

  • Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulatory standards.

  • Participate in supplier evaluation, onboarding, and development initiatives in accordance with organizational policies.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing timely documentation and responding to audit inquiries.

2. Operational Execution

  • Assist supervisors and senior officers in managing the complete ICT and general procurement cycle, from requisition through payment.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Brand & Marketing, and other relevant departments.

  • Analyze and interpret stakeholder requirements, technical specifications, service needs, and project priorities to support efficient procurement planning.

  • Support sourcing and procurement activities, including RFx (RFI/RFQ/RFP) processes, contract reviews, bid evaluations, negotiations, and supplier rationalization.

  • Guide internal stakeholders on procurement procedures, category management practices, and supplier risk assessment processes.

  • Identify procurement-related risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

  • Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in a transparent, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
