  • Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP-based accounting and financial management systems.
  • Sound knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, VAT, customs duties, income tax, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Willingness to visit factory locations on a weekly basis or as directed by management.
  • Hands-on experience in Export-Import Operations, Loan Management, Finance & Accounts, Financial Reporting, International Banking, and Taxation-related functions will be required.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead the preparation, analysis, and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Oversee bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and update financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
  • Supervise and guide the Accounts & Finance team to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Monitor financial performance through ERP systems and provide analytical insights for management decision-making.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and month-end closing activities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance monitoring processes.
  • Coordinate with production, commercial, marketing, merchandising, purchase, and store departments to ensure effective financial control and reporting.
  • Maintain buyer, supplier, and party-wise accounts, ensuring timely reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
  • Handle international banking and trade finance activities, including export-import documentation, L/C management, shipment tracking, and fund realization.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, Customs, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure timely preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
  • Monitor TDS, VDS, and other regulatory deductions and ensure timely submission of required reports.
  • Manage banking facilities, loans, and financial instruments, including EDF, OD, LATR, Term Loans, OBU, UPAS, and related facilities.
  • Ensure proper utilization of accounting software/ERP systems and maintain data integrity.
  • Perform any other finance, commercial, or strategic responsibilities assigned by management.
