Responsibilities & Context

  • Overall Department Operations & Production Management
  • Oversee the entire operations of the Knitting & Finishing Department.
  • Develop and execute strategic production plans, ensuring optimum capacity utilization.
  • Monitor the total production flow, balancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure seamless coordination from yarn receiving to the final production stage.
  • Production Planning & Execution
  • Plan and monitor production processes, including order reviews, material shortages, and inventory control.
  • Analyze past production data, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure material availability and develop contingency plans for on-time delivery.
  • Track operational and cost parameters at every stage to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Buyer Management
  • Coordinate with Marketing & Merchandising teams to align production with buyer's approvals, planning, costing, allocation, and shipment schedules.
  • Handle interdepartmental issues and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, supporting new and existing product development from prototype to volume production.
  • Process Optimization & Efficiency Improvements
  • Identify bottlenecks in production and implement strategies for sustainable efficiency improvements.
  • Drive process efficiency by enhancing communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Improve profitability through cost reduction initiatives, integrated planning, and performance analysis
