Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain close collaboration with operational teams to ensure timely product delivery and optimal utilization of equipment and manpower.
  • Prepare monthly production plans based on information from the merchandising team, managing capacity both within and outside the organization.
  • Consult with the Head of Production regarding upcoming workloads and assist in taking appropriate actions.
  • Review the production plan daily and develop alternative strategies to meet customer deadlines.
  • Formulate monthly production requirements for in-house fabric, printing, embroidery, and washing capacities, updating relevant teams accordingly.
  • Schedule deliveries based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance needs.
  • Analyze total capacity and workload in terms of Standard Minute Value (SMV) and schedule resources accordingly.
  • Coordinate inventory and cost control programs to ensure efficiency.
  • Establish effective communication with fabric, merchandising, production, quality, store, and maintenance departments to facilitate seamless execution of the production plan.
  • Assist superiors in staff performance evaluations, new recruitment, promotions, disciplinary actions, training needs, and career development.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance issues are integrated into daily operations.
  • Conduct daily production meetings to follow up on weekly shipment schedules and resolve any issues related to shipments.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards in the workplace.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
  • Evaluate staff performance, uphold floor discipline, identify training needs, and manage career development programs.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual business reviews.
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by management.
