We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Google Cloud Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the security, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud environment, working closely with development, operations, and security teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage core GCP services, including Compute Engine (GCE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, VPC networks, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
• Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, ensuring least-privilege access and robust security controls.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, load balancers, and VPN/Interconnect solutions.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Google Cloud's Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver) and other monitoring tools; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., using Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) to streamline operations and ensure consistency.
• Establish and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes and procedures for critical cloud resources and data.
• Manage and optimize cloud costs by monitoring resource utilization, implementing cost-saving strategies, and providing regular reports on spending.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the GCP environment.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay current with the latest GCP services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on our environment.
