• Contribute to the grant management strategy by participating in meetings, troubleshooting issues, and addressing audit findings.
• Support consortium management, donor negotiations, and external representation on behalf of BRAC to strengthen partnerships.
• Coordination
• Oversee grant reporting, donor communications, and compliance tracking to ensure timely, high-quality submissions and adherence to requirements.
• Lead grant-related meetings (kick-off, review, close-out) and ensure effective follow-ups and stakeholder coordination.
• Manage due diligence, partner collaboration, and issue resolution, representing the Cluster in global grant management discussions and training.
• Compliance
• Review proposals, contracts, and subgrant agreements to ensure adherence to BRAC and donor compliance policies, supporting partner vetting and training.
• Collaborate with leadership to address complex compliance issues, influence grant management policies, and support cluster and resource mobilization with a compliance-focused approach.
• Draft sub-grant agreements using approved templates, ensuring donor compliance and escalating any potential issues to leadership.
• Analysis & Portfolio Management
• Support grant budgeting by reviewing proposal budgets and providing inputs for the Cluster Master Budget.
• Monitor grant and portfolio spending, maintain portfolio and reporting trackers, and analyze data to resolve issues.
• Support the cluster in developing and implementing action plans based on grant metrics and indicators.
• Use the Grant Management System to monitor the Cluster’s portfolio, track performance, and provide key insights.
• Systems & Capacity Building
• Maintain grant files according to BRAC procedures and lead the Cluster’s Grant Management System to ensure data quality and guideline adherence.
• Develop expertise in the system’s dashboard functionality, keeping data updated and utilizing it for informed decision-making.
• Oversee capacity building and learning within the grant management team.
• Safeguarding Responsibilities
• Ensure the safety of program participants, external stakeholders, and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation (including sexual exploitation and abuse) to achieve the program’s safeguarding goals.
• Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding, fostering a safe working environment.
• Promote and endorse safeguarding policies among team members, ensuring their implementation in all actions.
• Follow safeguarding reporting procedures in case of any reportable incidents and encourage others to do the same.
