Head of Alliance Management & POS Acquiring Business (AVP-FVP)

Job Context

The Premier Bank PLC., one of Bangladesh’s leading private commercial banks, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused professional to lead its Alliance Management & POS Acquiring business within the Retail Banking Division. The role focuses on strategic merchant acquisition, POS business growth, partnership development, and improving card acceptance and transaction performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic merchants and corporate partners, including commercial negotiations, agreements, and KYC compliance.

• Drive growth in the POS acquiring business by expanding merchant acquisition, managing terminal deployment, improving device activation, and increasing card transaction volumes.

• Lead merchant training initiatives and ensure smooth card acceptance operations, while resolving merchant and customer issues.

• Develop and monitor co-branded campaigns, merchant discount offers, and promotional partnerships to increase card usage and POS revenue.

• Analyze merchant and channel performance, including transaction volumes, active merchant ratios, productivity, and team sales targets, using MIS dashboards.

• Use data-driven insights to identify performance gaps and implement appropriate strategic and operational improvements.
