Education
Bachelor’s (Honors) degree in any discipline from a reputed university, with no Third Class/Division or equivalent low CGPA in the academic record. A postgraduate degree will be considered an added advantage.

Relevant professional qualifications will also be considered beneficial.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience.

Candidates should have experience in banking or leasing/financial institutions.

At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within Card Business, Payments, or Digital Banking (Card Division) is required.

Additional Requirements
Age must not exceed 55 years as of April 30, 2026 (may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates).

Hands-on experience in card products, payment systems, and digital banking operations is essential.

In line with its commitment to corporate goals, financial inclusion, and strong governance, the Bank is inviting applications from experienced, strategic, and results-driven professionals for the position of Head of Card Business Division.

Job Responsibilities:

Formulate and execute the overall Card Business strategy in alignment with retail and digital banking objectives.

Lead both issuing and acquiring businesses, covering ATM, POS, and e-commerce channels.

Drive growth in the card portfolio, focusing on activation, usage, and overall profitability.

Oversee the development of card products, including credit, debit, prepaid, and virtual cards.

Design and implement marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and co-branded partnership initiatives.

Monitor key performance indicators such as transaction volume, activation rates, revenue generation, and delinquency levels.

Ensure robust risk management, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory requirements, including Bangladesh Bank and PCI-DSS standards.

Manage partnerships with major payment networks such as Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, and NPSB.

Lead digital transformation initiatives, including contactless payments, mobile wallets, and e-commerce solutions.

Prepare strategic business plans, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Card Business team to achieve organizational goals.
