Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and manage the hire sales and collection functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, plan, and implement strategies aimed at achieving higher sales and collection targets.
  • Regularly monitor sales performance and collection efficiency, and take action to improve them.
  • Proactively engage customers to increase sales and enhance collection rates.
  • Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts and defaults in hire sales.
  • Provide strong leadership and support to the Divisional Credit Manager (DCM) and Regional Credit Manager (RCM), ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Set clear goals for the credit management team and monitor their performance to meet credit sales targets.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance team capabilities in credit sales and collections.
  • Ensure regular surveys are conducted at Walton Plaza outlets to assess sales potential and customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and oversee installment fairs to drive hire sales, while boosting visibility for Walton’s products through fairs and promotional activities.
  • Ensure physical verification of hire accounts to maintain accuracy and compliance, addressing discrepancies when necessary.
  • Lead all compliance efforts to ensure sales and credit activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement initiatives to increase the payment percentage of hire accounts.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports on sales and collections to the Managing Director.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Develop strategies to reduce default accounts in hire sales and implement risk assessment measures to minimize bad debt exposure.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure credit sales strategies are aligned with risk management policies.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat sales and improve customer loyalty.
  • Promptly address customer concerns and disputes to maintain a positive brand image, offering solutions related to hire sales and credit arrangements.
  • Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the credit sales department.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Managing Director or other senior leadership.
