Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Science (BSc), in Mechanical/ Electric Engineering From BUET/DUET/KUET/RUET/IUT/MIST or Any other reputed university

  • 8 Year to 10 Year

Additional Requirements


  • At least Seven years experience in large scale knit composite garments industries.
  • Must have experience in large Knit Composite Garments Industries.
  • Must be Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and E-mail and Internet operation.
  • Candidate living near Narayanganj will be added as advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee operations for Barnali Textile & Printing Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, Barnali Collections Ltd, and other sister concerns.
  • Maintain 100% honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.
  • Provide strong leadership and effectively manage teams.
  • Possess extensive experience in knit dye house machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage various utility systems related to knitting, dyeing, garments, and printing.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and cost-control techniques, ensuring best practices.
  • Conduct audits of current facilities and resources, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Possess sound knowledge of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) management and experience in solar plant operations.
  • Lead new project management, project development, machine erection, and operations.
  • Analyze industry benchmarks and trends, identifying key success factors in the industry.
  • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize machinery breakdowns.
  • Ensure all safety measures are in place to protect both workers and machinery.
  • Monitor electrical connections and load distribution, taking proactive measures to mitigate potential risks.
  • Handle inspections and liaise with government and non-government authorities for verification and compliance.
  • Successfully manage inspections such as USGBC, LEED, GREEN, ACCORD (RSC), RCC, etc.
  • Develop accurate estimates and budgets for electro-mechanical items, machinery, and projects.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities for each machine.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability without excessive stockpiling.
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all machinery, both internally and externally.
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all electrical and mechanical installations meet compliance standards.
  • Possess expertise in knit composite machinery erection and installation.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of boiler, generator, and substation maintenance.
