Responsibilities & Context

  • The Head of Quality for Outerwear Products is a senior-level role responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across the entire product lifecycle. Specializing in padded, down, quilting, seam-sealed, and CWS jackets, this role plays a vital part in upholding brand reputation, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Quality Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee all quality assurance processes, including raw material inspections, in-process quality control, and final product inspections.
  • Quality Control: Lead the quality control team in conducting rigorous testing and inspections to identify and correct defects.
  • Defect Analysis: Analyze defect data to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to company quality standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and certifications to ensure compliance with legal and market requirements.
  • Quality Systems: Implement and maintain quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, to guarantee consistent quality performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals to meet and exceed quality objectives.
