• Process Improvement & Quality Standards:
• Lead the improvement of washing, dyeing, and dry processes to ensure they meet or exceed the company's quality standards.
• Ensure that all processes align with industry best practices and company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for consistent results.
• Team Training & Adherence to Best Practices:
• Oversee and organize training programs for the team to ensure adherence to best practices and continuous process improvement.
• Maintain a skilled and efficient workforce by ensuring that team members are well-equipped to handle technological advancements and evolving standards in washing, dyeing, and dry processes.
• Research & Development:
• Lead R&D efforts to innovate and improve the washing, dyeing, and dry processes, introducing new technologies and techniques to improve product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Conduct research on new materials, dyes, washes, and treatment processes to enhance the company's product offerings.
• Laboratory Testing & Report Analysis:
• Conduct laboratory tests to analyze fabric and garment properties, including color fastness, durability, shrinkage, and other relevant characteristics.
• Review and analyze testing reports to ensure compliance with quality and safety parameters.
• Recipe Standardization & Bulk Production:
• Standardize recipes for bulk production to ensure consistency in the finished products.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth transitions from sample to bulk production.
• Coordination with Corporate & Buying Offices:
• Work closely with the corporate office and buying office for bulk approvals, shade bands, and product specifications.
• Ensure timely communication and approval processes to avoid production delays.
• On-Time Delivery & Product Safety:
• Monitor production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of products while maintaining the safety and compliance of the final garments.
• Ensure that all products meet safety standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in areas like chemical treatments and fabric finishing.
• Manpower & Cost Management:
• Take responsibility for reducing manpower requirements and controlling costs by optimizing processes and eliminating inefficiencies.
• Introduce process improvements and new technologies to lower operating costs while maintaining high quality.
• Technology Implementation:
• Take initiative to set up and implement new technologies in the plant to improve the washing, dyeing, and dry processes for the future.
• Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and industry trends to bring innovative solutions to the production floor.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement of washing, dyeing, and dry processes.
• Take a proactive approach to identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to drive operational excellence.
