  • Minimum 3 years working with government agencies, CSOs, or in the public health sector.
  • Proven experience in health system strengthening activities at the local level.
  • Master of Public Health (MPH) or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of local health systems and public health service delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and community representatives.
  • Strong commitment to improving community health outcomes.
  • Cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills for effective community engagement.
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the demands of a dynamic project environment.
  • Willingness to work across the country to implement the project.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead implementation of SLLHS project activities at district and upazila levels, collaborating with local health teams and officials.
  • Coordinate with local stakeholders, including CSOs, to enhance service delivery and promote health system improvements.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for local health teams in evidence-based planning and public health system resilience.
  • Oversee data collection and ensure timely, accurate reporting to SLLHS and Health Systems Resilience and Climate Change Specialist.
  • Monitor implementation progress, address challenges, and report results to support continuous learning and improvement.
  • Promote community engagement to increase awareness, foster involvement, and ensure transparency in health service delivery.
  • Document success stories, case studies, and lessons learned to share best practices and support ongoing project development.
  • Ensure the safety of program participants, staff, and stakeholders from harm, abuse, and exploitation.
  • Act as a key source of support and guidance on safeguarding, promoting and implementing safeguarding policies.
  • Follow safeguarding reporting procedures and encourage others to report incidents.
