Responsibilities & Context

1. Recruitment & Hiring

  • Assist in creating job descriptions and posting job advertisements

  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers

  • Schedule and organize interviews, tests, and background checks

  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees

2. Employee Records Management

  • Maintain and update employee records (digital and physical)

  • Manage databases related to attendance, leaves, salaries, and personal details

  • Handle document verification and filing for new joiners and resignations

3. Attendance, Leave & Payroll Support

  • Monitor employee attendance and leave records

  • Coordinate with the payroll team or software to ensure timely salary processing

  • Assist in maintaining data related to overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc.

4. Employee Relations & Support

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns

  • Help resolve workplace conflicts or grievances

  • Assist in promoting a positive work environment and company culture

5. Policy Implementation & Compliance

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed across departments

  • Help implement new policies or update existing ones

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, gratuity)

6. Training & Development Support

  • Identify training needs and schedule learning sessions

  • Coordinate employee development programs and workshops

  • Maintain training attendance and feedback records

7. Exit Process Management

  • Handle resignation formalities, exit interviews, and clearance processes

  • Ensure proper documentation during employee offboarding

  • Analyze reasons for employee turnover and report insights to HR Manager

8. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare HR-related reports for management (e.g., recruitment status, attrition rates)

  • Assist in audits by providing necessary HR documents and data

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company data
