  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the BPO, start-up, tech companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes, employee engagement strategies, and performance management best practices.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR compliance standards, particularly in Bangladesh.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with HR software and systems (HRMS, payroll software, etc.).
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in managing HR challenges in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager (HR Business Partner) to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for supporting the HR Lead in developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects. An HR Manager must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You should be able to manage programs and lead the team while also possessing a strong strategic and start up mindset. The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.

Employee Engagement & Retention: 

  • Design and implement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that enhances employee satisfaction and reduces attrition rates.
  • Conduct regular employee feedback sessions, performance reviews, and stay interviews to identify opportunities for improving employee engagement.
  • Organize employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and other morale-boosting initiatives.
  • Address employee grievances and facilitate conflict resolution in a fair and consistent manner.

HR Policy Development & Compliance: 

  • Craft HR policies that are in line with Bangladesh Labour Law and comply with global certifications such as ISO, GDPR and other relevant standards.
  • Oversee employee records management and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for improvements and changes as necessary.

Performance Management: 

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, ensuring that employees receive constructive feedback and recognition for their contributions.
  • Set and implement OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) across all departments to ensure alignment with company goals and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans for employees at all levels.

Training & Development: 

  • Design and implement training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of employees at all levels, including data annotators, quality analysts, and team leaders.
  • Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives to address them.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create employee development plans that align with organizational goals.
  • Promote continuous learning through workshops, online courses, and other educational resources to ensure employees remain competitive in their roles.
  • Foster a culture of learning and professional growth within the company.

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Manage employee compensation plans, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Benchmark compensation practices to ensure competitive pay structures for data annotation roles.
  • Design and implement benefits programs, including health, wellness, and other employee perks, that align with company goals and employee needs.

HR Metrics & Reporting: 

  • Track and report key HR metrics such as employee turnover, retention rates, and employee satisfaction.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on HR analytics to improve operational efficiency and employee outcomes.
  • Assist with forecasting workforce needs and developing workforce strategies.

Admin & IT: 

  • Supervise and manage the ADMIN and IT departments, ensuring their alignment with HR strategies and organizational objectives.

Leadership & Team Management: 

  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.
  • Partner with leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters, including organizational development and change management.
