Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Science (BSc), in IPE/ Textile Engineering from any reputed university or Masters in Science.

Experience

  • At least 2 year(s) working experience in same position.
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written in English.
  • Commitment, attitude and ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure even for longer working hours.
  • Computer knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, internet browsing.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Design and implement machine layouts with appropriate manpower allocation and necessary attachments.
  • Develop and maintain a Skill Matrix for recruiting and grading new employees.
  • Conduct time studies, capacity studies, and follow-up studies on running styles, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Analyze operation bulletins, prepare line layouts, and identify critical operations along with required special machines/attachments.
  • Manage daily manpower balancing, set production targets, and monitor achievement progress.
  • Calculate and analyze non-productive time (NPT) to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit reports to superiors regarding production status and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Sewing Line Chiefs and Line Supervisors for line feeding and production flow management.
  • Develop quality control processes to resolve production issues and minimize costs.
  • Set up production lines to ensure achievement of set targets and efficiency improvements.
  • Motivate workers to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Identify top performers and implement an incentive program for deserving workers.
  • Only candidates with experience in woven TOP & BOTTOM garments should apply. (Knit experience is not required.)
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
