Requirements

Education


  • Relevant academic qualifications, including a BA and MA in Japanese Language and Culture, or a certificate and diploma from reputable and recognised academic institutions

Additional Requirements


  • Good command of the Japanese language, demonstrated in Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Certificate of Result and Scores (N4 and/or above)
  • Candidates having previous teaching experience and experience in technological integration into language teaching will be given preference 
  • Open to Bangladeshi nationals and international applicants 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the Japanese and English languages 
  • Ability to work with the ICT integration process for developing online and 'face-to-face' courses 
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and students

Responsibilities & Context

  • Developing Japanese Language module/s both for 'face to face' and online classes (JLPT-5 and JLPT-4) 
  • Facilitating training sessions in Dhaka/outside Dhaka 
  • Recording Audio-Video materials, and developing training plans, budgets, ICT integration, and assisting with participants' enrollment
  • Arranging different socio-cultural events for students, teachers, and other stakeholders to promote as well as market the Japanese language and culture programme at BIL, BRAC University
  • Maintaining liaison with both public and private institutions both at home and abroad and embassies, to promote the Japanese language and culture programme at BIL, BRAC University
