  • Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing, business development, or related fields, ideally within the garment industry.
  • Expertise in buying house operations and understanding of merchandising and production processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international garment markets, sourcing strategies, and global trends.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Identify and engage new buyers to expand the company’s client base.
  • Develop and implement global marketing strategies to strengthen the brand's international presence.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential buyers for long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Achieve a minimum 20% annual increase in international sales volume.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor strategies.
  • Provide market insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials, online campaigns, and social media content to attract buyers.
  • Work closely with buyers to understand their needs and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with costing and production teams to secure competitive pricing and maintain profit margins.
  • Manage the development and approval of samples to meet buyer expectations.
  • Ensure production timelines and quality standards are met for all orders.
  • Resolve production and supply chain issues to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on material sourcing, fabric trends, and market demands to offer innovative solutions to buyers.
  • Facilitate communication between buyers, factories, and internal teams for seamless order execution.
