Responsibilities & Context

  • IT Support: Provide technical support to remote team members, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and upgrade IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Software Management: Install, configure, and update software applications used by the team, ensuring they are functioning correctly.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems, including managing firewalls, antivirus software, and  data encryption.
    Network Management: Oversee the setup and maintenance of secure and reliable network connections for all remote employees.
  • Hardware Management: Manage the inventory, setup, and maintenance of hardware equipment such as laptops, monitors, and peripherals for remote employees.
  • Data Backup: Ensure regular data backups and manage data recovery processes in case of system failures or data loss.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for IT-related purchases, services, and support when necessary.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and technical documentation for reference and compliance.
