Position Overview:
The IT Support Engineer will manage, maintain, and support the organization’s server, network, and system infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and high availability. The role involves troubleshooting system and network issues, managing virtualization platforms, and delivering timely technical support to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development teams, IT teams, and end-users to provide infrastructure and technical support.

Administer, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.

Install, configure, and manage mail servers (e.g., Postfix, IMAP) to support organizational communication.

Manage and maintain DNS and web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS).

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system, server, and network issues to maximize uptime and performance.

Maintain backup systems, disaster recovery plans, and system documentation.

Administer and support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, and Hyper-V.

Ensure robust network security, including firewall configuration, access control, and adherence to security best practices.

Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and perform capacity planning.

Assist with system upgrades, patch management, and security updates to maintain secure and up-to-date systems.

Provide on-call or after-hours support during emergencies or critical situations.
