  • Basic knowledge of VAT rules, documentation, and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure compliance with VAT Act & Rules within the group.
  • Prepare reconciliation statements between VAT records and accounting records.
  • Support preparation of store sales and VAT sales production stock (monthly).
  • Maintain records of raw materials stock, consumption, and VAT-related store reports on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare reports related to export, import, Mushok 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 9.1, and sub-forms.
  • Coordinate with store, distribution, security, commercial, and head office teams regarding VAT matters.
  • Support VAT activities of head office, factories, supply chain, and contract parties.
  • Assist in monitoring tax deductions at source and ensure timely deposit to government treasury.
  • Coordinate with Accounts and Internal Audit departments for preparation of tax and VAT-related financial reports.
  • Ensure efficient operation of all tax and VAT-related accounting activities of the organization.
