Responsibilities & Context

  • 1. Cleanliness and Hygiene
  • Ensure all food supply areas are maintained in a clean, hygienic, and safe condition.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain sanitation standards in food preparation and storage areas.
  • 2. Logistics and Event Support
  • Coordinate and ensure availability of food and refreshments for university meetings, seminars, and events.
  • Plan and oversee the timely delivery of catering services according to event specifications.
  • 3. Canteen and Food Store Oversight
  • Supervise the operation of the university canteen and other food outlets on campus.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with service standards and operational efficiency.
  • 4. Quality and Affordability
  • Ensure students have access to high-quality, nutritious food at reasonable prices across campus facilities and dormitories.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain cost-effective food procurement while ensuring food quality.
  • 5. Student-Centered Service
  • Gather and respond to feedback from students to improve food services.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive dining environment for all university members, ensuring their needs are met.
