Junior Officer - Seed Production

Age: Up to 40 years

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Seed Science, Horticulture, or a related field.

• Master’s (MS) in Genetics & Plant Breeding, Agronomy, or Horticulture is preferred.

Experience:

• 0–1 year of experience in seed production, contract farming, high-value crop production, or agricultural research.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

• Direct experience working with farmers is an advantage.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of seed production, crop management, pest control, and contract farming basics.

• Experience in field data collection, recording, and basic analysis.

• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.

Field & Operational Requirements:

• Willingness to work in rural areas and travel within the assigned region.

• Physically fit for field supervision and monitoring activities.

Communication & Training:

• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with farmers.

• Ability to conduct trainings and provide technical guidance.

• Capable of preparing simple reports and training materials.

Personal Attributes:

দায়িত্ব ও প্রেক্ষাপট

পদসংক্ষিপ্ত বিবরণ:

জুনিয়র অফিসার – প্রোডাকশন নির্ধারিত অঞ্চলে বীজ উৎপাদন, চুক্তিভিত্তিক চাষ ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম বাস্তবায়নের জন্য দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত থাকবেন। তিনি প্রশিক্ষণ ও গবেষণা কর্মকর্তার নির্দেশনায় কৃষকদের সঙ্গে ঘনিষ্ঠভাবে কাজ করে উচ্চমানের ফসল ও বীজ উৎপাদন নিশ্চিত করবেন, মাঠ পর্যায়ের তথ্য সংগ্রহ করবেন এবং প্রশিক্ষণ ও পরামর্শমূলক কার্যক্রমে সহায়তা প্রদান করবেন।

মূল দায়িত্বসমূহ:

1. বীজ উৎপাদন:

   • বীজ উৎপাদন কার্যক্রম তত্ত্বাবধান ও পর্যবেক্ষণ করে গুণমান, বিশুদ্ধতা এবং ফলন নিশ্চিত করা।

   • বপন থেকে বীজ প্রক্রিয়াকরণ পর্যন্ত কৃষকদের মাঠ পর্যায়ের নির্দেশনা ও সহায়তা প্রদান।

2. চুক্তিভিত্তিক চাষ (উচ্চ-মূল্যের ফসল):

   • প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক ও রপ্তানি উদ্দেশ্যে চুক্তিভিত্তিক চাষ কার্যক্রম সমন্বয় ও তত্ত্বাবধান।

   • মাঠ পরিদর্শন ও পর্যবেক্ষণের মাধ্যমে উৎপাদিত ফসলের মান কোম্পানি ও ক্রেতার প্রয়োজনীয়তার সঙ্গে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ রাখা।

3. গবেষণা ও উন্নয়ন:

   • নতুন জাত, আধুনিক প্রযুক্তি ও উন্নত উৎপাদন পদ্ধতির মাঠ পর্যায়ের গবেষণা ও পরীক্ষা পরিচালনায় সহায়তা।

   • চলমান গবেষণা ও প্রকল্প উন্নয়নের জন্য মাঠ তথ্য সংগ্রহ, সংরক্ষণ ও প্রাথমিক বিশ্লেষণ।

4. কৃষক প্রশিক্ষণ ও পরামর্শ:

   • চুক্তিভিত্তিক কৃষকদের জন্য GAP ও কীটপতঙ্গ ব্যবস্থাপনা বিষয়ক প্রশিক্ষণ ও প্রযুক্তিগত পরামর্শ প্রদান।

   • প্রশিক্ষণ উপকরণ প্রস্তুত, হালনাগাদ ও বিতরণে প্রশিক্ষণ ও গবেষণা কর্মকর্তার সঙ্গে সমন্বয়।

5. মাঠ তথ্য সংগ্রহ ও প্রতিবেদন:

   • উৎপাদন ও গবেষণা কার্যক্রম সংক্রান্ত সঠিক মাঠ রেকর্ড, তথ্য এন্ট্রি ও অগ্রগতি প্রতিবেদন সংরক্ষণ।

   • নিয়মিত অগ্রগতি আপডেট ও প্রতিবেদন প্রশিক্ষণ ও গবেষণা কর্মকর্তার কাছে প্রদান।
