Junior Site Engineer

Job Context

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to supervise construction activities, ensure quality workmanship, monitor project progress, and support the successful execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site supervision, measurement, material management, safety compliance, and coordination with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

✔ Monitor on-site workmanship and verify that construction activities comply with design requirements and quality standards.

✔ Conduct regular site inspections and report construction progress, issues, and required corrective actions.

✔ Take accurate site measurements and assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity calculations, work progress reports, and project cost estimates.

✔ Verify completed work quantities for contractor billing and project documentation.

✔ Inspect incoming construction materials to ensure the required quality and quantity standards are met.

✔ Maintain accurate records of material receipts, stock levels, consumption, and site inventory.

✔ Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

✔ Ensure all construction activities comply with company policies, project specifications, and applicable building standards.

✔ Enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations while promoting a safe working environment.

✔ Ensure workers and subcontractors follow safety procedures, company policies, and site regulations at all times.

✔ Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports and maintain proper project documentation.

✔ Assist in resolving site-related technical issues and support timely project completion.

✔ Perform any other site engineering or construction-related responsibilities assigned by Management.
