  • Proven work experience in a diagnostic center or hospital laboratory.

  • Prior GCC experience will be considered an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, reagents, and modern diagnostic testing methodologies.

  • Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Responsible, honest, and strongly oriented toward patient care and service quality.

  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Computer literacy is essential for report preparation and Laboratory Information System (LIS) operations.

 
 

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context
Our GCC-based Diagnostic and Hospital Unit is expanding its laboratory services and seeks qualified and committed Lab Technologists to deliver accurate, reliable, and timely diagnostic results. The role requires adherence to international laboratory standards while supporting high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory investigations, including Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Immunology, and related disciplines.

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain automated analyzers and laboratory instruments to ensure accurate test performance.

  • Ensure proper sample collection, handling, processing, and storage in compliance with established protocols.

  • Review, validate, and confirm test results for accuracy prior to reporting.

  • Maintain and comply with quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) standards.

  • Adhere to laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control guidelines at all times.

  • Provide diagnostic support to physicians and nursing staff as required.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, test records, equipment calibration logs, and reports.

  • Identify abnormal or critical results and communicate them promptly following reporting protocols.

  • Assist the Lab Manager in day-to-day laboratory operations and other assigned responsibilities.
