  • Masters, Master’s degree in Agriculture discipline.

Additional Requirements


  • Strong knowledge of the Theory of Change, result frameworks, food security concepts, environmental hazards in agriculture, and USAID programming and policies, including M&E indicators and environmental guidelines.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to develop and conduct training and workshops.

  • Experience in program budget preparation, expenditure analysis, progress reporting, and staff supervision in livelihoods and food security projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on diverse teams, manage agricultural activities, and oversee project management with minimal supervision.

  • Proactive, flexible team player with integrity, credibility, and a commitment to BRAC's mission, capable of working in both in-office and remote environments.

Skills



Responsibilities & Context

  • Collaborate with the MEL team to develop the Theory of Change (ToC), establish performance indicators, and create integration strategies aligned with project goals.
  • Analyze research, field data, and study reports to generate knowledge insights for the project. Work with the MEL team to define metrics for monitoring progress effectively.
  • Promote locally led solutions and ensure the integration of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) in all thematic activities.Participate in reviewing Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and grant proposals to support partner selection, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners to refine implementation plans, address technical gaps, and develop monitoring frameworks with the MEL team for tracking progress and ensuring quality
  • Prepare and review budget guidelines for Maitree and partners, providing recommendations and suggesting corrective actions to address implementation gaps.Develop training modules, guidelines, and tools to support high-quality program implementation, and deliver technical training sessions for partners and project staff as required.
  • Provide ongoing support through joint field visits, attend partner meetings to share insights, and offer targeted assistance based on partner needs.
  • Recommend and engage in capacity-strengthening initiatives, including partner capacity assessments and technical development efforts.
