Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Planning
Prepare and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and maintain financial stability across projects.
Provide management with financial insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.
Accounts & Reporting
Supervise daily accounting activities, including payables, receivables, and general ledger management.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare financial analyses and reports for board meetings and audits.
Oversee reconciliation of bank statements, vendor accounts, and intercompany transactions.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure adherence to VAT, tax, and other regulatory requirements.
Accurately prepare and submit statutory returns on time.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain compliance with company law and other financial regulations.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
Identify financial risks and implement effective risk management strategies.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts & finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and senior management to align financial planning with business goals.
Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, and stakeholders to manage funding and investment requirements.
