• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely development of samples in line with customer specifications.
• Manage garment fit and construction, overseeing pattern making, grading, adjustments, and incorporating customer feedback.
• Review system-generated reports and discuss with the team each morning.
• Prepare cost estimations, update revised costs, and manage sample development.
• Create and send quotation samples and revised quotation samples, along with paper patterns, to the buyer's office.
• Prepare patterns and size sets, and ensure their delivery to the buyer's office.
• Organize in-house pre-production (PP) meetings.
• Develop the first size set sample and make necessary corrections.
• Verify measurements before and after washing, ensuring shrinkage compliance.
• Assess the previous day’s performance and establish daily targets.
• Ensure patterns meet accurate specifications and quality standards as per customer requirements.
• Resolve pattern issues from the previous day and work with the Head of Samples to reduce internal rejections.
• Oversee accurate pattern grading and marker making.
• Monitor production and identify potential challenges arising from new technologies.
• Adjust the department's daily workload in consultation with the pattern team.
• Review and verify the final consumption sheet before final submission.
• Provide comprehensive follow-up and oversight of daily activities.
