Transport Division Leadership
Direct, manage, and oversee the entire Transport Division within C&F operations.
Ensure optimal use of both company-owned vehicles and hired trucks/covered vans.
Organize, schedule, and supervise daily transport activities to guarantee timely deliveries.
Lead and coordinate a large workforce, including drivers, helpers, supervisors, and coordinators.
C&F & Port Coordination
Collaborate with the C&F team to facilitate cargo movement after port and customs clearance.
Maintain regular communication with port authorities, customs agents, warehouse personnel, and clients.
Handle container and trailer operations, including gate-pass processing and dispatch management.
Check and validate all clearance documents, delivery orders, and shipment papers before transportation.
Operational Control & Monitoring
Monitor vehicle location and delivery progress in real time.
Maintain accurate records such as trip sheets, fuel usage logs, mileage reports, and dispatch documentation.
Ensure the fleet adheres to BRTA regulations, port guidelines, and company rules.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on transport operations.
Cost Management & Vendor Handling
Manage transport expenses and ensure cost-effective fleet operations.
Negotiate pricing and terms with logistics vendors, truck owners, and service providers.
Review and validate transport bills, challans, and vendor invoices.
Supervise vehicle maintenance, servicing activities, and compliance with fitness requirements.
Quality, Safety & Service Excellence
Guarantee safe handling and secure movement of goods throughout transit.
Enforce and monitor safety protocols for both vehicles and personnel.
Address operational issues quickly and effectively.
Deliver high-quality service and ensure maximum client satisfaction
