Responsibilities & Context

  • Over 10 years of experience in denim bottom production, ensuring no shortcuts are taken in any process.
  • Oversee the entire fabric cutting process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement cutting schedules to meet production targets.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, planning, and CAD teams for smooth sewing line feeding and related tasks.
  • Ensure all cutting machinery is properly maintained and serviced; conduct regular inspections to meet design specifications.
  • Supervise and train cutting staff on techniques, safety protocols, and machinery operations.
  • Plan markers, calculate marker efficiency, and work to save fabric while maintaining accurate records of fabric consumption.
  • Ensure line inputs match the order plan and cuts are cross-checked with QC reports.
  • Monitor fabric relaxation processes to ensure quality.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and ensure all cutting processes adhere to company and industry regulations.
  • Maintain records of materials used, waste generated, and production outputs.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on cutting activities and team performance to senior management.
  • Conduct fabric inspections, marking, and cutting according to specifications, ensuring proper numbering.
  • Bundle cut panels according to order specifications and ensure SOPs are followed to minimize errors.
  • Maintain cutting efficiency above 85%.
  • Ensure surplus cutting is prepared for all types of styles.
  • Strive for minimal fabric consumption and maximum efficiency.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by top management.
