Responsibilities & Context

  • Dyeing Program Management:
  • Monitor and follow up on dyeing programs to ensure proper batch loading and processing of cotton, cotton-polyester blends, and other fabrics using Vat, Reactive, and Disperse dyes for both woven and knitted materials.
  • Production Planning:
  • Plan and execute daily dyeing schedules to meet production requirements efficiently.
  • Work out precise chemical recipes for dyes and determine the appropriate treatments for different fabric types.
  • Supervision & Quality Control:
  • Supervise dyeing operatives to ensure proper mixing of dyes and fabric feeding through machines.
  • Oversee Reactive and Indigo color dyeing processes for knitting and woven fabric as well as yarn dyeing.
  • Fabric Design & Development:
  • Prepare fabric designs and develop dyeing processes as needed to achieve desired results.
  • Ensure "Right First Time" (RFT) control for every batch to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Production Oversight:
  • Oversee the entire production process, creating and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain a balance between production speed and quality to achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Foster strong relationships and communication with section heads and other teams to facilitate smooth production operations.
  • Address and resolve any issues arising during the production process.
  • Compliance & Standards:
  • Maintain compliance with Chain of Custody (COC) and General Product Quality (GPQ) requirements.
