Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Any reputed public university.
Additional Requirements
- Experience: 10 to 14 years of relevant experience, preferably in the electromechanical or construction field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using computers and experienced with ERP software for project management and operations.
- Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities & Context
Possess strong knowledge and a clear understanding of electrical drawings, designs, and specifications for project execution.Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of electromechanical work according to project requirements.Ensure adherence to safety standards, efficient resource utilization, and timely project completion within the set budget.Serve as a liaison with contractors, utility service providers, and management to ensure smooth project progress and compliance with standards.
Technical Expertise:
- Review and understand electrical drawings, designs, and specifications for projects.
- Collect electrical designs and specifications from relevant authorities and prepare detailed material estimations.
- Develop and modify electrical designs, drawings, and specifications as required, ensuring approvals from relevant authorities.
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Create time schedules and implementation plans for project completion.
- Coordinate with project engineers to implement electromechanical work per design and specifications.
- Modify designs to suit site conditions and secure necessary approvals.
Team Training & Management:
- Train and verify the qualifications of working personnel before hiring.
- Prepare work schedules and assign tasks to project staff.
Safety & Maintenance:
- Develop and enforce a maintenance plan, assigning personnel for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all workers follow established safety standards.
Contractor & Resource Management:
- Direct contractors and negotiate with contracting companies to secure adequate equipment and personnel.
- Monitor the quantity and quality of materials received and used during project execution.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records, reports, timesheets, and invoices at both site and head office levels.
- Update work status regularly and submit reports to relevant authorities.
- Correspond with management to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
Meetings & Issue Resolution:
- Organize monthly meetings with project staff to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Communicate with and update management to ensure uninterrupted project progress.
Utility Coordination:
- Collaborate with utility service providers to ensure timely connections for electricity, water, and other essential services.
Tender Management:
- Supervise, verify, and finalize the tender submission process, including detailed estimations and analyses, for various government, semi-government, and private organizations.
Professional Affiliations:
- Maintain active membership with the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
