Responsibilities & Context
N. AMIN TEXTILE MILLS LIMITED is looking for an experienced, performance-driven, and execution-focused Factory Manager to lead overall weaving factory operations, production efficiency, maintenance coordination, manpower management, and operational reporting.
This role requires a proactive professional capable of improving loom efficiency, minimizing downtime, strengthening shift accountability, coordinating maintenance teams, and ensuring smooth factory operations through effective production planning and monitoring.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Production & Loom Management
- Monitor daily loom-wise production targets versus actual output
- Track running, idle, down, and low-efficiency looms regularly
- Improve loom utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency
- Reduce production loss, downtime, and machine stoppages
🔹 Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams for smooth factory operations
- Ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repeat breakdowns and chronic machine issues
- Follow up preventive maintenance schedules and spare parts requirements
- Monitor machine health and ensure timely troubleshooting and repairs
🔹 Factory Operations & Process Control
- Supervise overall weaving floor activities including:
- Warping
- Sizing
- Beam availability
- Weaving operations
- Fabric inspection
- Fabric flow management
- Ensure smooth production workflow and operational continuity
🔹 Manpower & Shift Management
- Control shift-wise manpower planning, attendance, and floor discipline
- Monitor operator performance and workforce productivity
- Ensure proper coordination among shifts for uninterrupted operations
🔹 Quality & Waste Reduction
- Minimize wastage, rejection, rework, and quality-related production loss
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production processes
- Support operational improvement initiatives for better production performance
🔹 Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly factory reports for management
- Coordinate with:
- HR & Administration
- Store & Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Commercial & Sales teams
- Top Management
- Provide operational updates, performance analysis, and production insights
