Responsibilities & Context

  • Source and evaluate candidates for open positions.
  • Develop and review HR policies and procedures specific to the Textile Division, suggesting modifications when necessary.
  • Promote HR initiatives that foster an efficient, harmonious workplace and nurture a positive work environment.
  • Address Industrial Relations (IR) and employee relations matters, ensuring grievances and disciplinary actions follow legal requirements.
  • Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and official directives for process enhancement.
  • Oversee payroll and overtime (OT) management and ensure timely disbursements across all Textile Division facilities.
  • Analyze employee turnover, identify underlying causes, and address them promptly to improve retention.
  • Set monthly objectives for the marketing team, ensuring targets align with production and operational needs.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and talent management to meet business goals, following recruitment policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with HR objectives, goals, and accomplishments.
  • Manage the HR budget for the Textile Division.
  • Develop team members, promote teamwork, and ensure continuous process improvement.
  • Control departmental expenditures within the approved budget.
  • Ensure recruitment aligns with the approved organizational structure of the Textile Division.
  • Oversee the Performance Management System (PMS), including adherence to review timelines and policy.
  • Manage Textile Division insurance matters, such as monthly updates, renewals, and claim processing.
  • Generate and submit HR reports and monthly HR MIS.
  • Implement employee engagement activities to sustain motivation and morale.
  • Liaise with BTMA, BTMEA, insurance companies, and other organizations as needed.
  • Provide training to Textile Division employees as required.
  • Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals and KPI reviews.
  • Manage projects as assigned by management.
