• This position is based at the head office but will require frequent visits to the factory.
• Analyze, control, and reduce costs and wastage efficiently.
• Establish and maintain operational guidelines, procedures, and practices to optimize performance.
• Monitor operational performance and implement improvements through process and technology enhancements.
• Develop departmental policies, goals, and procedures in line with company objectives and determine staffing needs.
• Design the layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to maximize efficiency using IE methods/tools.
• Set daily standard input ratios and raise worker awareness of new methods related to garment manufacturing.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production schedules to meet standards and streamline the overall process.
• Conduct method and time studies to ensure efficient production.
• Ensure proper line balancing and confirm daily production targets for each line.
• Monitor order status and hold regular meetings with merchandising, marketing, and production teams to meet production goals.
• Foster strong relationships with merchandising and production teams for smoother operations.
• Continuously update the SMV data bank to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Finalize optimal sewing and finishing SMVs to ensure effective workstation layout and resource utilization.
• Ensure accurate capacity planning, focusing on cost reduction and increased profitability.
• Implement and monitor input supermarket processes and procedures using the KANBAN card system to maintain standard WIP levels.
• Track and monitor TNA from swatch cut to finished goods.
• Identify and resolve factory operation bottlenecks to ensure smooth production flow.
• Coordinate production workflows and supportive activities to achieve business goals.
• Implement the KAIZEN concept on the shop floor through weekly continuous improvement programs.
• Manage factory IE teams, ensuring they are updated on production status and addressing any deviations from the production plan with quick solutions.
• Maintain close relationships with operational teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal use of equipment and manpower.
