The role is responsible for driving productivity enhancement, SMV control, capacity and manpower planning, line balancing, cost optimization, and continuous improvement to achieve production targets with maximum efficiency and quality. This position requires close collaboration with Production, Planning, Quality, HR, and Merchandising teams in a large-scale RMG environment.

• Possess hands-on experience in production planning for 30–40 sewing lines.

• Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering function to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost performance across all production lines.

• Establish, review, and control SMV standards, capacity plans, and manpower allocation in alignment with production goals.

• Ensure effective line balancing, layout planning, and method improvement to reduce bottlenecks and downtime.

• Conduct time study, motion study, work study, and method analysis to enhance operational efficiency.

• Monitor daily line efficiency, labor productivity, output achievement, and absenteeism impact, taking timely corrective actions.

• Support production planning and scheduling by providing accurate capacity, efficiency, and IE data.

• Participate in style analysis, pilot runs, feasibility studies, order confirmation, and pre-production activities.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.

• Drive LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across production floors.

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and digital IE tools where applicable.

• Analyze production performance data and prepare IE dashboards, efficiency reports, and management presentations.

• Develop, track, and benchmark KPIs and productivity standards in line with buyer and management expectations.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate IE team members and production supervisors on IE tools and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with buyer productivity requirements, cost targets, and operational standards.

• Support management in cost reduction initiatives through method improvement and efficiency enhancement.
