  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the relevant sector, with evidence of growing expertise in banking and non-banking financial institutions and finance-related disciplines.
  • Advanced skills/proficiency in spreadsheet software.
  • Adept in word processing and presentation software.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of banking, financial institutions, and the broader industry landscape.
  • Investment Pipeline Development: Develop a strong pipeline of high-quality investment opportunities.
  • Project Appraisal & Documentation: Prepare detailed project appraisal reports, financial models, risk grading models, agenda papers, memos, and presentations for CRM/CC/Board meetings, and finalize loan documentation.
  • Fund Arrangement & Deal Structuring: Lead fund arrangement deals by preparing Investment Memorandums (IMs), financial models, meeting with potential borrowers and lenders, and closing deals.
  • Credit Line Management: Manage credit lines from Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs).
  • Agency Function & Monitoring: Perform agency functions, monitoring financial, operational, environmental, and social performance of projects.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with potential clients, banking and multilateral partners, and government officials to enhance the investment pipeline.
  • Deal Completion & Strategy: Lead and oversee deal completion, taking responsibility for strategy-related activities to ensure successful outcomes.
