  • Experience: Demonstrated expertise as a Maintenance Manager, with at least 7 years of experience managing building systems in the apparel industry or a similar environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of building and utility maintenance, including plumbing, sanitation systems, tiles, compressors, boilers, generators, and electrical systems related to utility management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and the ability to address maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve maintenance objectives.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintenance Oversight: Supervise all maintenance aspects, including generators, compressors, boilers, plumbing, sanitation, electrical systems, HVAC, and structural integrity.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and coordinate regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Implement and manage weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of required spare parts for all machinery and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Policy Development: Develop and update operational and maintenance policies, procedures, and manuals to optimize performance.
  • Service Efficiency: Guarantee the smooth functioning of maintenance services across all areas.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Quickly identify and resolve faults in machinery to minimize disruptions and maintain productivity.
  • Safety Assurance: Ensure workplace safety by complying with occupational safety and environmental regulations.
