• Business Development & Promotion: Develop new business and promote products to fresh buyers. Acquire new customers while maintaining existing relationships.
• Market Expansion: Take responsibility for business development in new markets and engage directly with buyers.
• Coordination with Production & Planning Teams: Collaborate with the production team to ensure on-time shipment and with the planning manager to align production schedules.
• Product & Market Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of fabrics, trims, and accessories, and conduct sales forecasting and market analysis to identify emerging trends and new opportunities.
• Costing & Pricing: Prepare costing sheets and pricing for knit garments, and negotiate prices with buyers to ensure profitability.
• Sales Strategy & Market Research: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and sales. Conduct market research to identify opportunities in the global market.
• Buyer Engagement & Portfolio Management: Manage buyer relationships, segment markets, and target specific buyers to expand the buyer portfolio.
• Long-Term Growth Planning: Establish long-range plans to optimize capacity, leverage low costs, and improve on-time delivery.
• Product Development & Trend Analysis: Lead product development, trend analysis, fashion forecasting, and sustainable material sourcing based on buyer and company requirements.
• Production & Delivery Management: Oversee the smooth production process, ensuring timely delivery and quality products.
• Merchandising & Inventory: Manage the product merchandising process, including selection, pricing, and inventory management.
• Customer Delivery & Capacity Reviews: Ensure on-time customer delivery by coordinating with factory capacity, fabric, and trim commitments within established timelines.
• Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and production units to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Profitability & Cost-Effectiveness: Improve gross profit through effective sourcing, cost negotiations, and offering solutions to reduce costs while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Risk Assessment & Profitability Analysis: Provide business clarity to the team by using cost analysis and risk-assessment tools to measure profitability.
• Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Buyer Representation: Act as the representative for buyers, ensuring their needs and requirements are met.
