  • Pressure Handling: Capable of working under pressure and consistently meeting deadlines within a predefined time frame.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Planning Department Oversight: Responsible for the overall operation of the Planning Department, ensuring smooth production workflows and efficient capacity utilization.
  • Production Flow Management: Develop and monitor the production planning process, including reviewing production orders, identifying material shortages, and tracking inventory status to optimize production efficiency.
  • Deviations and Adjustments: Identify discrepancies between planned and actual production, and assist in adjusting future production plans based on past performance.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, buyers for approvals, planning, allocation, shipment scheduling, costing, inter-departmental issues, and administration.
  • End-to-End Production Follow-up: Oversee the entire production cycle, from yarn receiving to finished goods delivery, ensuring timely completion of each phase.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to assess material availability and implement alternative solutions when necessary to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Process Efficiency Improvements: Identify bottlenecks within the production process and implement solutions to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance overall performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Drive improvements in overall process efficiency and communication with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Cost Reduction and Profitability: Identify opportunities for cost reductions through integrated planning, analysis, and process improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Operational Updates: Regularly update key operational and cost parameters throughout the production process to ensure transparency and efficient tracking.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Participate in cross-functional teams to support the development of existing and new products, from prototype to full-scale production.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers, promoting best practices to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, production, lead times, and shipment schedules.
  • Resource Optimization: Ensure the optimal utilization of manpower and machinery to meet production targets efficiently.
