Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead the PVH GPQ Team to ensure adherence to Quality SOPs and product quality at various production stages (Fabrics & Accessories, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing & Inspection).
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of PVH quality requirements and GMP audits; hold FCQA certification from PVH.
  • Validate internal inspections (Inline, prefinal/final, fabric inspection, cut panels, print panels, sewing, finishing DHU, etc.) and take necessary actions to drive improvements.
  • Liaise with the PD Manager, IE Manager, Merchandiser, Production, HR, and Textile teams as required.
  • Address and resolve garment quality and production issues by auditing and controlling processes, including RA meetings, PPM, first output approval, and pattern adjustments.
  • Participate in External Quality Audits and may be required to perform external audits as well.
  • Supervise sample evaluation and production approval processes.
  • Monitor QA/QC performance by collecting and analyzing relevant quality and production data.
  • Ensure compliance with product MMR and safety standards, ultimately ensuring the quality of the final product.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) in response to buyer notifications or claims and take control of corrective measures.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the technical aspects of products, focusing on customer demands and implementing them accordingly.
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations and ensure subordinates do the same.
  • Undertake any other assignments as delegated by top management.
  • Uphold the best interests of the organization at all times.
