Experience in the following areas is required:
  • Washing (Wet & Dry Process), Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Inspection.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Quality Monitoring: Oversee and monitor the quality standards of the washing factory, ensuring both wet and dry sections meet the required standards.
  • Daily Quality Briefing: Conduct daily morning meetings with the quality team, reviewing the quality reports and discussing any issues from the night shift.
  • Quality Reporting: Ensure the timely collection and review of quality reports from both shifts and maintain clear documentation of quality-related activities.
  • Housekeeping & Documentation: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure proper documentation of all quality-related processes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Identify quality issues, determine their root causes, and work with senior management to develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Process Monitoring: Ensure all processes in both dry and wet sections follow the established systems and procedures to maintain quality.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and instruct the quality team to ensure they meet quality standards, and provide specific instructions for new styles or buyer requirements.
  • Reporting & Planning: Prepare hourly and daily quality reports and share them with the Quality GM. Develop quality plans for both shifts and ensure targets are met.
  • Communication with Management: Discuss quality matters with the GM, receive instructions, and align on strategies to achieve optimum quality.
  • Buyer Relations: Act as the main point of contact for buyers regarding quality concerns and ensure all buyer expectations are met.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other factory departments (production and quality) to ensure seamless communication and quality standards are upheld.
  • Training and Development: Organize regular training sessions for the quality team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Supervision: Supervise and follow up on the work of fellow QC personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Production Meetings: Attend production meetings to receive updates on upcoming orders and set quality targets for the team.
  • Buyer Satisfaction: Ensure the team is prepared to meet and exceed buyer satisfaction standards.
  • Quality Control Support: Provide comprehensive quality control support to the washing department from sampling to final inspection, ensuring all stages meet quality standards.
  • Quality Management System: Implement and maintain the Quality Management System within the washing plant.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the overall quality objectives of the factory.
