Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers effectively and resolve disputes.
Strong attention to detail for accurate management of customer accounts.
Numerical proficiency to analyze financial data, assess risks, and make informed credit decisions.
Proficient in using accounting software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Solid knowledge of commercial transactions and credit management practices.
Conduct customer credit assessments to evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers and recommend appropriate credit limits.
Manage the invoicing process, including preparation, issuance, tracking, and correction of billing discrepancies.
Perform debt collection activities by following up with customers on overdue payments and negotiating suitable repayment arrangements.
Monitor customer accounts regularly to identify overdue invoices, potential risks, and emerging collection issues.
Investigate and resolve payment disputes, customer queries, and billing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Negotiate payment plans with customers experiencing financial difficulties, ensuring recoverability while maintaining customer relationships.
Prepare and analyze reports on outstanding receivables, bad debt trends, aging analysis, and collection performance.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring adherence to agreed payment terms.
Collaborate with Sales teams to identify potential credit risks and align on credit decisions.
Coordinate with the Commercial and other relevant departments to support effective debt recovery actions when required.
Ensure full compliance with company credit policies, procedures, and internal controls to minimize bad debt exposure.
