Education


  • Master’s in any discipline (IPE/Textile Engineering will be preferred).

Additional Requirements


Extensive Experience:
  • At least 15 years of experience in denim production and processing, with a specific focus on denim washing plants.
Expertise in Continuous Improvement Methodologies:
  • Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement in processes and quality.
Project Management:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Leadership Skills:
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring smooth coordination and problem resolution.
Software Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and other relevant software tools for efficient data management, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead the Industrial Engineering (IE) department independently focusing on process improvement, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to minimize waste and optimize production.
  • Direct and Control the implementation of new technology and modern techniques to improve productivity and efficiency·
  • Monitor and ensure cost reduction by directing and implementing the reduction of all kinds of production wastage like - rejection, rework, wrong cutting, excess production, and excess working hour.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Standardize time studies, methods, and processes to ensure efficiency in production lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, planning, washing and sample to streamline workflow and improve overall efficiency.
  • Develop capacity plans and line balancing to meet production targets and ensure timely delivery.
  • Analyze critical point and take corrective measure before starting of bulk production.
  • Introduce and implement best practices in IE to enhance production and quality performance.
  • Train and mentor IE staff and production teams on best practices and new methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
